Secondary three student, Cathya Ortega Saldana, is our multimedia editor. Her responsibilities range from managing our social media page, @themonthlymassey, to designing our website and being a part of all creative decision-making. 

She joined The Monthly Massey editorial team in September 2024, having recently published: Autumn’s Warning: Climate Change and the Future of Snow.

She joined The Monthly Massey to explore her love for opinion writing and discussed hot-topic issues related to environmental legislation and climate change.

A fun fact about her is that she has a passion for singing.
